Yep - that's right Adrian. In a nutshell, as a user do I need to know about both ways of invoking the operations or just use one of them ? If the latter, which one ? A trivial aside: it would be neat if the string operation names for DefaultProcessor.doOperation were gathered together, e.g. as psf constants, so that a user could type something like processor.getOperation( DefaultProcessor. and their IDE's code completion would display the candidate operation names Michael ps.
