Hi Gabriel, How far did we get with releasing 2.5.0? Is it still sitting on sourceforge waiting to be announced. My impression is that we were going to re-release due to patches required by GeoServer?
If that is the case I think those patches will really have to wait until 2.5.1 since GeoServer 1.7.0 is not quite ready to go and won't be for probably a couple of weeks due to some regressions found with the last release candidate. And also in practice I think us GeoServer folks should discourage ourselves from "patching releases" in this way.
