Hello Andrea, nice to hear you again (you helped me in this mailing list some time ago), thanks a lot for your response and for your work with this module. I'll try it (2.5.1) as soon as I'll be able to download/compile etc. I'll report you how it works, bugs if any and needs (if any). I'll go to try it with the data of the Prato Municipality in a web application (tomcat 5.5 in cluster) with an Oracle in RAC configuration.

It sounds to be the solution of my problems (prepared statements > and so on). The module is "unsupported" (well, no problem, > oracle-spatial module is unsupported too), I'd like to know if it is > suitable for a production (not critical) use or if it is experimental .. We did not use it in any production environment so far, we just asked for some feedback on the GeoServer list, so far we haven't got any (one possible bug, but no way to reproduce it for us atm). > I did'nt find it in the module matrix on the geotools web site > (http://geotools.codehaus.org/Module+Matrix). Could I have some news? The module has many more unit tests that then old one, yet it's not tested against real world data. If you can give it a spin and let us know how it works, we're all ears. > Just another thing; the 2.5.0 is released? Yet, you won't find the jdbc-ng modules in neither of them. If you want to try them out, you'll have to check out gt2 2.5.x branch and build with maven using the -Dall switch to include the unsupported modules in the build. Otherwise I can provide you with a handful of post 2.5.1 jars (I made some fixes after the release).
