Hi Tracy,

This is not really a Geotools matter.

You can find the GDAL binaries here:
http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/DownloadingGdalBinaries

If you're using Windows or Linux, download the distribution called
FWTools from that page and you should find that it has everything you
need.

> I am a scientist in Germany and now works on a research project about
> environment modeling.
> I have some important data in ESRI personal geodatabase format (.mdb), and
> would like to import or read the
> data from the database to my modeling software. I have found the souce code
> of GDAL on the internet. I know that i need the pgeo provider for the
> connection with personal geodatabase. I would like to get something like
> ogr.lib, ogr.dll file so that i can use the function inside the library in my
> modeling software. Can you tell me whether these files exist or we can make
> the file somehow? How could i use the makefile.vc?? yours, tracy
