Ability to turn on/off TextSymbolizer "left-to-right" aligning feature
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOT-2330
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-2330
Project: GeoTools
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: core render
Affects Versions: 2.5.3
Reporter: Andrea Aime
Assignee: Andrea Aime
Fix For: 2.5.4
Drawing "one way" arrows on streets it's at the moment hard. Even if it's
possible to use dingbat fonts with arrows inside to place an arrow along the
direction of a line (using label placement) it's still not possible to make it
follow the natural line direction, as the code tries to make the label always
reables, never looking upside down. For arrows thought this might be exactly
what we're looking for (assuming the data set is setup so that all line segment
follow the eventual one way, and there is a flag to discriminate one way roads
from those that are not one ways).
