As far as GeoTools is concerned, the only change is to replace the "geoapi"
Maven dependency by "geoapi-pending". There is no other changes needed on the
GeoTools side, since GeoAPI 2.3-SNAPSHOT is strictly identical to GeoAPI
2.2-SNAPSHOT except for this module split.

However I should deploy the 2.3-SNAPSHOT jars on the OSGEO or refraction
servers
first. I can do that if people wish.

But there is also an alternative that we may want to consider: GeoTools stay on
the 2.2-SNAPSHOT branch. Johan and Ben Caradoc-Davies applies their changes on
2.3-SNAPSHOT, in the "geoapi-pending" module which exists exactly for that
purpose. Then we merge to the 2.2-SNAPSHOT branch only the changes that we want
to use in the current version of GeoTools. It should not be hard since I don't
think that the changes would be major, and I can update the javadoc. In
GeoTools
pom.xml, the link to GeoAPI javadoc:

     http://geoapi.sourceforge.net/snapshot/javadoc/index.html

could be changed to

     http://geoapi.sourceforge.net/2.2/javadoc/index.html
