Took a quick look at the proposal. I think from a interactive POV (udig or
other clients) being able to update an existing style is a useful thing. The
alternative is to be more Filter like and do copies. That is a conceptually
more difficult model especially since SLD are often quite large.
Long winded way of saying I support the proposal. +1
