That sounds fine; let us do this in two steps. 1. You just volunteered as maintainer - congratulations you win a module!
Can you update the pom.xml with your contact information. 2. When you are ready can you go through the QA process for a "supported" module and report back to the list: how many stars, what is the test case coverage, link to a page of documentation and so forth. We can do a couple spot QA checks; and go through the Provenance review.atp file and so forth.
