Hi everyone, esp Simone and Daniele, In response to a chat with a user (off list) I've cooked up a WritableGridCoverage2D class and a demo app. It's just a very quick hack at a wrapper class based on some code from one of my own apps.
For the moment I've added it to the example app (org.geotools.demo.coverage package). Later, I think it would be nice to have a writable grid class in the coverage module.
