I had a look at what in gt-api breaks; if it only depended on gt-opengis (and not on gt-referencing and gt-metadata) It amounts to utility classes used during implementation. - CRS (from referencing is used by the JTS utility class) - Factory classes (Hints, GeoTools, FactoryRegistery etc) - Utilities (helpful methods when implementing equals etc...) So what can we do with this information? - nothing! (it does compile after all) - We may be able to move the factory and utility classes into gt-api; and move the JTS utility class into referencing. (this may be preferable to my initial request that we make a gt-util module to hold these classes) Jody ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn how Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) One Node allows customers to consolidate database storage, standardize their database environment, and, should the need arise, upgrade to a full multi-node Oracle RAC database without downtime or disruption http://p.sf.net/sfu/oracle-sfdevnl _______________________________________________ Geotools-devel mailing list Geotools-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geotools-devel
