Hi, I could build geotools-2.6.6-project.zip with 'mvn -Dall clean install' on CentOS 5.5 (Linux, RHEL clone):
[mbaudier@gogol geotools-2.6.6]$ uname -a Linux gogol 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5 #1 SMP Wed Jan 5 17:53:09 EST 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux [mbaudier@gogol geotools-2.6.6]$ java -version java version "1.6.0_17" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.7.5) (rhel-1.16.b17.el5-i386) OpenJDK Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode) Please just note that, when I first tried with Maven 3.0.3, I had quite a few failures (e.g. duplicated id for a pluginRepository definition, and then some empty includes, etc.). This is most probably due to the fact that Maven 3 is much more more restrictive than Maven 2. I gave up at some point, downloaded Maven 2.2.1 and it built without any problem with it.
