Some work has been done on unsupported land in order to align the geotiff
reader logics to the one adopted by the ImageMosaic and ImageIO-Ext-GDAL plugin
which use the RasterLayerRequest/RasterLayerResponse/RasterManager/... entities
to setup requests, access data and process results to provide coverages...
Moreover support for transparency and JAI ImageRead has been provided as
available on ImageMosaic.
