Just perusing the latest gt sources, r38340, and noticed the the BigDecimal
converter is registered as follows:
register.put(BigDecimalConverter.class, new BigDecimalConverter());
when surely it should be:
register.put(BigDecimal.class, new BigDecimalConverter());
