Some updates. With help from the bridj folks I was able to do a build of
bridj locally and with that things work on osx! Progress.
I do still think that it could be worth maintaining two sets of ogr
bindings, one for bridj and one for the original jni stuff. On the github
branch I have separated things out as follows:
