New github users also need to install their SSH public key or they won't 
be able to clone their own geotools fork using the git smart protocol. 
The symptom is an error like:

$ git clone [email protected]:bencaradocdavies/geotools.git geotools
Cloning into geotools...
Permission denied (publickey).

The solution is to install your SSH public key:
https://help.github.com/articles/generating-ssh-keys
