But I'd say, if you have the resources, go for it.
The functionality is already there. (This is supported in 2.0
filters). It's just a matter of changing the parser, I'll have a look
at it soon.
Turns out it is merely a matter of changing the xsd files in the
gt-xsd-filter package (and a few minor changes in the binding classes).
The xsd files in geotools are version 1.1.0, while there is a 1.1.3.
