Hi,
I've just completed a patch provided by a GeoTools user to support
the citext postgresql extension data type (
http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.1/static/citext.html)
by adding a online test for it:
https://github.com/geotools/geotools/commit/0d3fbe332c62530090b3798b50b5c023d7f4fe68

The patch per se is really just a single line, and it's innocuous if the
data type is missing
from the installation.

Do you mind if I backport it immediately on the stable series, even if
technically this is a
improvement, not a bug fix?

Cheers
Andrea
