NetCDF datasets may define _FillValue/missing_value attributes (although CF convention deprecated the last one) to represent uninitialized/invalid values within a specific variable.
The NetCDF reader should be able to parse this attribute and expose it as NoData when setting up the GridCoverage on top of the Variable.
