Ah ha! That makes sense. I had incorrectly assumed that you were trying 
to support mixed content.

Stefano, there is no need to disable mixed content. I just wanted you to 
know that mixed content is unsupported and that you are free to make the 
most straightforward and general implementation without feeling obliged 
to include code for the mixed content case.
