Jira ---- - Short discussion on MacOS X failures - Jira not for support requests - Detailed build failure reports welcome on Jira - Mailing lists also suitable if unsure where it is just your failure - Andrea added Jira guidance to project home page on GeoServer - Guidelines have reduced inappropriate use - Will leave GeoTools as it is for now as less problems JAI replacement --------------- - There was a discussion about the replacement of JAI - OpenCV suggested - JAI design does not work well with GPUs - CUDA version of some JAI operators was faster than JAI - Pure Java was faster - Native call performace overhead, synchronisation problems - Compare with pure Java PNG encoder, which was faster than native - Interpolation breaks tile-based optimisations for GPUs as need neighbouring tiles Pull requests ------------- - Went though pull requests - Merged some PRs - Discussion - Legend graphic work has finally been merged.
