Hi,
I'm HyungGyu Ryoo from Pusan National University, South Korea.

Our laboratory have been developing geometry module that supports 3d spatial
operations and solid geometry.
For the next step, we are going to store features with 3d geometry property
into a database providing 3d geometry and query for them via Geotools.

As you know, JTS Topology Suite doesn't support solid type and 3d
operations.
The geometry model mainly used in Geotools is highly dependent on geometry
classes by the JTS library.
Because of this coupling, it is hard to add functions for manipulating
features with 3d geometry into Geotools.

In my opinion, the geometry model need to be changed for flexible structure.
I wonder if there is any plan or discussion about it.

Regards, Ryoo.
