I was testing the OGR bindings (with OpenFIleGDB) on GeoServer 2.9.0, and
ran into a failure when rendering.
Re-testing on GeoServer 2.8.0, I found that the issue occurs with OGR and
Java 8 - Java 7 works fine. Since GeoServer 2.9 only supports Java 8, this
means that OGR currently will not work with GeoServer 2.9.
Full details are in the linked ticket. If anyone has any ideas as to what
might be causing this, I would love to hear them.
So far, my best guess is an issue with the GDAL SWIG bindings.
