The active geotools branches now include a release module - with an assembly:single goal replacing our much beloved jar collector.
Care and feeding instructions are added to developers guide <http://docs.geotools.org/latest/developer/procedures/supported.html#ask-to-be-included-in-the-next-release> for next time a module graduates. -- Jody Garnett
