SourceForge sent a request if February to remove large files with zero
recent downloads.

This project is using a large amount of storage.

We need your help removing a lot of your old releases.
> Please remove as much as you can of your old releases and unused files

We actually depend on this historical record as our commit history is not
100% complete (due to svn / git etc...) so sent the following reply:

This is a long term project used for a lot of scientific and mapping
> applications.

> cannot always be sure that keeping just the source code is sufficient to

They have now sent a second warning:

With this in mind what do we wish to do?


   - Anyone wish to write a script to create tags in GitHub, and transfer
   the assets over?
