I was going through UDIG Using 'Info button' you can get Information about that particular parcel in Map(of that shape file). And Using 'Edit button' you can cut particular area.
I am having a plot in a shape file(ploygon type),when I cut this plot usiing a line. This plot subdivides into two,so this new plot should get a different ID ,and also if I want Add a new attribute to it ,how can I add it using UDIG am not finding that in it. That is Suppose '.dbf' conatins columns Poly_ID,Number,Location with values if I have a add one more attribute like 'Owner'.how can access that database table in it.
