[Geotools-gt2-users] Creating Shape Files.

Hi,

If anyone has any idea about how to create shape fiels using ShapeFileWriter class please help me.
Am unable to write geometries using this class.
I have not got the last parameters for writing shapeFile (int FileLength)
Is this parameter the initial file length.How is it calculated.
If More data is being written to this will it handle the Filesize accordingly.

Also I would like to know what is the efficient way to delete ,Add geometries in such a case.If have a file with 10 points and I decide to  remove the 4th point do i need to take the remaining geometries and rewrite into a new file or the FileHandler deletes the geometry and organises the file (No of records ,file length ,shx files and all in the Header ) Accordingly ?





A sample code would be helpful.
