I filed the JIRA issues, tried to collaborate with the module mantainer,

But it happens there was no real module mantainer nor anybody that seemed to
care.
Mr Rizzi - we appologize for wasting your time. There was a new module
maintainer at the time and Chris and I had been trying to keep it going.
Your complaint has been heard and was an agenda item on the last IRC
meeting.
To wit we are considering:
1. Dopping modules that are not supported
2. Keeping important ones available as an unsupported plugin download.
Basically we intend to be*honest about the available support* that we
can provide as a community, and advertise where we need help. For my end
I will take a hard look at the JDBCDataStore when I am done the Feature
Model improvements.
