After I wrote this I realized that I was having difficulty with math.  North wouldn't be 180, it would be 90.

I'm trying to move a point based on a vector that the user supplies.  So basically, if we have a point that is at -88, 41 in WGS84, and the user says that they want the object to move 50 meters due north (180 degrees), we will calculate the new coordinates.  Using the DefaultEllipsoid, we can calculate the opposite (distance based on two coordinates), but I'm not sure how to do this.

Any advice you have will be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom
