Hi, I'm a newcomer to this project, needing to integrate some GIS functionality to a CAD engineering package.
I'm a bit puzzled by the fact that opengis.org defines a series of interfaces, all located in packages named under org.opengis... As I understood, geotools should be a partial implementation of opengis, but I found that none of the org.opengis... interfaces are implemented, and instead a series of nearly-identical (but NOT identical) interfaces are defined under org.geotools... Could please someone help, or direct me to a source of documentation explaining what the relationships between these projects are ? Thanks.
