You have to first create the project in Netbeans by clicking on the File
--> New project. Follow the instructions to create the project. Then
right click on the project name and from the menu pick 'properties'.
This will open a new window. Click on the category  'Libraries'. then
click on 'Add JAR/Folder'. That's where you will add the jar files.

This is the easy part. Now you have to write code to call the classes in
the jar file to create your application. That is the fun part.
