Hi everybody,
I'm reading this tutorial
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTDOC/04+How+to+Read+a+Shapefile and i've
managed to add the 3 jar files to my pom file, and have copied and pasted
the code onto my application, however i seem to be getting this error on
code line File file = getShapeFile(args); stating that in cannot find symbol
XXXX and required java.io.File. I've added the import java.io.File; line but
it still keeps on repeating it. It also says inconpatiple types
found : getShapefile
required : java.io.File
So i did a bit of research and found the api for this
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/io/File.html but where do i
download the jar file for this?
