Hi !

I would like to manipulate data in a 2D grid (at least viewing it,
changing its colors, changing its values, converting from a projection
to another, etc.)

This grid, in a first step, is going to be cartesian and regular, i.e.
with dX and dY constant, each cell being a rectangle.

The grid will contain values (water depth for example, but other infos
as well), located in the center of the cell or on the edges of the
cells.

Is the GridCoverage2D class adapted for this usage ?

In the future, the grid is planned to be irregular (dX and dY will not
be constant, thus one will need to store each dX and dY or the
position of all points of the grids) and even one day with cells that
are irregular quadrilaterals. Is there a class adapted for this usage
too ?

Thanks

Kind regards

Ben
