Exceptions ending in "Error" are usually related to classpath issue. If the
exception were "NoClassDefFoundError", I would said that GeoAPI is missing on
the classpath. But since the exception is "NoSuchMethodError", I rather suspect
that the GeoAPI.jar found at runtime is not the one used at compile time. Make
sure that there is only one GeoAPI.jar on the classpath, and that it is the same
than the one bundled with the geotools jars, or the one used for compiling your
application.
