Thanks Michael for your answer. Here are some more details about what I want
to do.
The data come from geostationnary or polar orbiting satellite measurements
and may be irregularly distributed. That is to say that the sensor
resolution is not constant through the whole image. Moreover, there may be
missing values which don't appear in my data file
I don't want the image to show interpolated data : the pixels corresponding
to available data will have a specific color depending on the physical
value, the others will be black for example.
If these elements are still not enough, please write me what you need more.
