Hello list, I am wondering which is the right behaviour when the DEFAULT_COORDINATE_REFERENCE_SYSTEM hint is set.
I'd expect the specified CRS to be only used when the source file has not CRS definition. However, GeoTiffReader overrides the original CRS if DEFAULT_COORDINATE_REFERENCE_SYSTEM is specified. Is this behaviour wrong or am I misunderstanding the meaning of DEFAULT_COORDINATE_REFERENCE_SYSTEM? It would be a good idea to clarify this in the API, as the description of this hint just says: "The default CoordinateReferenceSystem to use. This is used by some factories capable to provide a default CRS when no one were explicitly specified by the user.
