Good morning, Thank you very much for the reply mbedward. There is a transformation from GCS(lat long height) to ECEF (XYZ) and I can write the code to do so. In fact, I had done so in my project. I would like to rewrite my code with the OGC standard and reuse Geotools lib as much as I can, however.. I can't wrap my head around all "geodetic" definitions provided in the OGC and Geotools yet (even though my background is in geodesy).
Could you or anyone experienced with OGC standards and Geotools please help me with the programming algorithm for adding the transform from GCS to ECEF? Thanks and have a nice day! ~ble -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/gt-referencing-questions-from-a-newbie-tp4294766p4348976.html Sent from the geotools-gt2-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Geotools-gt2-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geotools-gt2-users
