Can I confirm my understanding of your response, as I'm unclear as this is expected functionality or a bug.. Should the Streaming Renderer provided with Geotools support WMS natively, or is it required that someone looking to use WMS with the Streaming Renderer has to 'roll their own' code for putting WMS image responses into a GridCoverage?
