no I do not have a .prj file. But I know which projection it is. It is the so called Gauß-Krüger projection. Does anybody have a idea how to solve this. I definitely know that it is not WGS84. But I guess it is unusual to receive .asc files with a .prj file. Or am I wrong? Are there examples of data (.asc) where a .prj file is added?
