Thanks for your review the other day. I spotted a few cases where the sample code did not work - the SimpleFeatureBuilder API now wants a feature id to be provided - Added a WKTReader2 into the mix so the code could be cut and pasted I am going to try and use a convention of treating SimpleFeatureType instances as final - because they are immutable and it will help make that point clear if they show up as "TYPE".
