ESRI recently released a C++ API to geodatabase; perhaps check ogr to see if
support is available yet. I am afraid for proprietary formats like this we are
a bit stuck; unless you would like to write the java native wrappers :-)
We tend to handle the open file formats (gml, csv, shp, etc...).
