You will have to modify the LabelCacheImpl class, the reason why all the
labels are vectorized is that we need to do that in order to properly center
the labels in their halo, handle curved labels, and I believe also to
automatically layout multiline labels.
Doing the same without vectorizing the output should be possible, but
might not be easy, and when using halos, certainly not desirable, as the
halo are always painted slightly off in respect to the label
