All,
Sorry if this is a duplicate post. I tried to post yesterday, but never saw it
make it to the archive or received a response.
I am trying to figure out how to get a 3D Cartesian CRS (or an ENU) for a
boresighted camera so that I can slew it to a known WGS84 location. I see how I
can get WGS84 to ECEF, and could calculate the ENU references from there with
some simple math. However, I suspect (after having looked through older
archives) that perhaps I can just create a CRS from the boresight information
(lat/lon/alt and bearing) that would allow me to get MathTransforms that will
do the work in a single step.
The boresight information may also contain pitch and yaw values that would
rotate the coordinate system. In order to slew the camera, I can only translate
in the X and Y axis specifically ... so working in the CRS is much preferable
to ENU.
Does this now exist in the current version? Can someone please point me to a
better way?
Thanks,-Gary
