Hi,

what is the best way to draw chloropleth maps in geotools?
I can think of two possibilities:
a) add some color-attribute to the features and set the style to use this
attribute for coloring the map. The disadvantage of this approach is that I
need to modify the schema.

b) add a new layer for each attribute to the map. Each layer has ist own color.
The disadvantage of this approach is that, depending on the number of
color-classes, this might result in a lot of layers.

Which approach is better/should be followed?

Thanks
