Herecast http://www.herecast.com/ and, Microsoft Research RADAR. There is a package for people who may be interested in using RADAR and that the package includes source code. It should be easy to obtain coming from a university. You might also be able to obtain a license from Ekahau to use their system for university use. This is what Illinois Institute of Technology did.
