Does anyone know of any approaches to catalogue mp3's (or other formats) such that you could subset a time period (that may cross multiple files) between a given time range. Right now I have many mp3s along with a start time and a duration... I'd love to be able to create an mp3 from the catalogue on the fly that would have a time range that would match a time range for spatial data animation (this is to match airport control tower frequencies to flight tracks around the airport) such that I could have start/stop buttons that would show the flight tracks flying along with the broadcasts that were happening at the time.
