It's been a quiet list. Perl's CPAN is scattered with Geo::* modules. I would contribute more if there were more egging-on going on (including a perl interface to the OpenStreetmap API if anyone wanted it). http://perlrdf.org/ is a neat scratch project assessing the current 'state of the art' and trying to build something common / integrating and complaining about other peoples' APIs in the hopes they change. It would be nice to see this cataloguing / overview effort in the Geo:: space to help provide clarity about what is available and encourage existing module authors to work together... it's niche enough to have a dedicated list anyway. The state of geo perl isn't *too* far behind that of python and enough People Care... cheers, jo _______________________________________________ Geowanking mailing list [email protected] http://lists.burri.to/mailman/listinfo/geowanking
