If i can see it from a public right-of-way, i can take a picture of
it and show others. There have been some attempts to interfere with
this, but it's a pretty tough battle in most cases, not counting
locations of "national security" of course

Anyone can definitely trademark the unique and business-purposed
unique features of a place they control, and you can't go flaunting

Of course there are alleged fair- and editorial-uses, but you may
have to 'splain that to the judge if you fair-use the wrong guy's
stuff... fair use is only a defense after the lawsuit happens... or
after you've repaired the gear you dropped after being strong-armed
by rent a cops...
