with the 4 geo-events in the SF area this spring (Location Intelligence, 
CalGIS, Symposium on the Digital Earth and Where2.2) I think a series of 
events--open houses, parties, kaffeeklatch, etc...would be a lot of fun. 

if you have ideas/want to host space/parties/etc. feel free to send me your 
ideas. i can be the geo-clearinghouse. UMI wants to host some more of these (a 
la geowanking style), but having a road show is a great idea.
