Hi David, I have both an N770 and an N800. The N800 has a lot improvements over the N770: camera, dual SD slots (one external), built in stand, faster proc.
However, there is yet the software to really take advantage of the camera - only works with other N800 users right now. Hopefully that will change in the near future. The form factor is different too, and I don't like it as much (oddly shaped, not as nice buttons on top, and no hardcover) The best upgrade has been the dual SD card and the stand. However, pertinent to this list is that the new Maemo now has built-in support for GPS frameworks and Position piped over the DBus backend - as provided by GeoClue or other location providers. This list has been pretty quiet lately. Has anyone been playing with the new Nokia n800? It sounds like a substantial improvement over the 770. David. _______________________________________________ Geowanking mailing list [email protected] http://lists.burri.to/mailman/listinfo/geowanking
