The Garmin Nuvi uses GPX - but unfortunately can only load a single
one, so you can't switch between multiple.

I don't think it supports tracks or routes in GPX - just placemarks.
So you would have to convert to Waypoints, either just trailheads, or
points along the route.

GPSBabel should be able to handle all this conversion b/w formats and
potentially convert tracks to intermittent Waypoints.
